CHRISTINE PARK GALLERY is delighted to announce its participation in Dallas Art Fair Online, a new platform launched by Dallas Art Fair allowing collectors to preview and purchase works from participating galleries before the fair’s upcoming twelfth edition, which has been rescheduled to October 1-4, 2020 due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

For our second consecutive year participating in the fair we will present works by our seven artists. From painting to photography, from graffiti to ceramics, our artists work with a wide array of mediums and we are pleased to present their works in our virtual booth at https://www.dallasartfair.com/online/christine-park-gallery

Nick Archer’s new paintings and prints further address the influence of natural phenomena on his work. As his canvases depict semi-abandoned landscapes overwhelmed by a thriving nature, the series of prints presented at Dallas Art Fair focuses on the process of reflections by making use of abstract forms and shapes.

Using photography as a medium, Xyza Cruz Bacani’s works convey the idea of alienation within urban contexts and intimately portray the relationship of the artist to the cities of New York and Hong Kong.

Acclaimed ceramist Yikyung Kim is renowned for her white ceramics created using the wheel-thrown techniques in which the harmony of traditional shapes is combined with modern functionality.

Inspired by adventures and experiences from his trips, Vangelis Pliarides works primarily with oil and watercolor. His paintings often veer into surreal representations of reality in which a solitary man is seemingly trying to reach out to others.

Jenny Pockley composes paintings influenced by the ever-changing color palette of mountains, sea and sky, welcoming the viewer to an otherworldly dimension.

Having started his graffiti works on New York’s subway trains, STASH presents five spray-painted New York subway maps. These works are specially released prior to his solo exhibition with the gallery, which has been postponed due to the COVID-19.

Combining art history with pop culture, Mathew Tom’s skillful monochromes introduce the viewers to a hazy dream-like reality. The artist borrows imagery from both Eastern and Western traditions in order to give life to carefully detailed compositions.
