Christine Park Gallery is delighted to participate in Art Central Hong Kong, held at Central Harbourfront in Hong Kong. For our second consecutive year participating in the fair we will present works by 6 gallery artists. At Booth 13, the works by Dan Hays, Timothy Hon Hung Lee, Gunwoo Shin & Sangyoon Yoon will be presented whilst at MEDIA x MUMM special booth, 16mm film installations by Guy Sherwin and Lynn Loo will be showcased.
Together with MUMM Champagne, Christine Park Gallery is proud to present MEDIA x MUMM booth, a daring showcase of video and new media art. Curated by Linda C.H. Lai, Founder of Floating Projects and Associate Professor of Intermedia Arts at the City University of Hong Kong's School of Creative Media, 16mm film projections and photography works by London-based filmmakers, Guy Sherwin and Lynn Loo will be showcased daily during the fair.
The originating three-minute film Eye (1978), as part of Short Film Series (1975-ongoing), has been screened at various venues in the UK and overseas. Following his solo exhibition, Light Cycles at Christine Park Gallery, Guy Sherwin presents a site-specific 16mm film installation and new prints based on his short films Railings, Newsprint and At the Academy for Art Central Hong Kong 2017.
